What could be wrong with my friend?

Let me start off by saying she is 17 and she is not sexually active.. And it is summer here (in australia).. She feels hot all over her body.. but she doesnt think its hot in her house.. its just her body she says.. Her stomach feels like its throbbing and is sore.. she has a migrane.. she feels weak , to a point where earlier she could barley lift up a cup to drink water.. she feels dizzy and gets headspins.. her chest is sore.. and she has a high temperature.. her whole body feels hot.. and no , she aint sunburnt at all.. and she hasnt been out all day.. Shes been havin migranes for a few days.. she thinks its stress , worrying and overthinking which cause the migranes.. but this morning when she woke up she had all that pain.. now its night and she still feels it.. but its slowy getting better she says.. What could be wrong with her.. ? Anything she could do (naturally) which could help her? Shes tryed having a cold shower.. and tryed to sleep.. but nothing really works.. Thanks..

It sounds like some sort of viral infection. The high temperature means her body is fighting an infection of some kind. There can be all sorts of viruses that have all sorts of symtoms and there isn%26#039;t any medication that can kill a virus. The best natural cures are echanacea or a combination of echanacea and Vit C. Also honey is very helpful and bee pollen. But really time, rest and lots of water or liquid. If she is slowly getting better it will run its course in due time.

If however she gets worse, then she will need to seek medical help.

i don%26#039;t know what it could be, but she should probably get to a doctor, and soon. those are some pretty serious symptoms.
Reply:Your friend could be dehydrated. Not enough water in the body causes all the symptoms you have described. Start off with small amounts of plain water. no caffine drinks, no sugar.
Reply:It sounds to me like she should see a doctor about this. The sooner the better. If not for diagnosis then for pain control at least. She doesnt have to just suffer.
Reply:First off anything over 101 F for longer than 24 hours means you need to get to a doctor immeadiately. A headache that lasts longer than a day is another sign that there could be something wrong. Also your friend has multiple abnormal symptoms. All that means she needs to see a doctor and very soon. Though stress affects our bodies and minds in unique ways these do not appear to be symptoms of stress. Please encourage her to seek medical attention to eliminate the possiblilty of something more serious. Good luck.
