Men and Wearing Make-up....??

When I was 7yrs old I was in a fatal bike accident. I have a huge scar above my right eye from it. I am also part Irish via my Mom%26#039;s side. I inherited the red face gene. Myself, my Mother and a couple of her siblings have this %26quot;red face%26quot; thing going on. They have all been to a Derm. to find out what it is. The Doc says that it%26#039;s a Irish thing and nothing we can really dd medication wise.

I work as a Server. I am always getting comments from people that I am sunburned or embarassed or that I must have high blood pressure. It gets pretty annoying. I notice that it seems more and more men are using make up these days. I was curious if anyone can recommend something that I can match to the skin tone to blend out the red face thing. It%26#039;s like the first thing people see and comment about it. Then if they see the scar They comment on that too. I wear hats as often as I can. But can%26#039;t at work. Is there something like cover up or a bronzer or a powder that won%26#039;t dry my skin out??? Thanks...
Men and Wearing Make-up....??
ok try true mach because it maches your skin tone really well apply this with a big makeup brush and blend well. then apply cover up stick to your scar. remember the key to apply makeup is to make it look as natural as possible. if you have lots of friends who are girls then take them with you when buying the makeup because they will know how to much the makeup to your skin tone. good luck
Men and Wearing Make-up....??
ummm hard question. go to a makeup person in the mall and ask them about it they might help u wit it better...
Reply:bobbi browns makeup should work, im sorry about the accident hope you feel better about yourself soon
Reply:i would think you%26#039;d be more embarassed when they notice the make-up---i wouldn%26#039;t use any--i have facial scars and the red british ruddy complexion--i drive a bus--i%26#039;m not worried/annoyed --everyone has some sort of abnormality about their appearance--forget about it
Reply:Definitaly try bare minerals by sephora.Itis a mineral and your skin DOES NOT dry out from this. They have matches for every skin tone known to man and it is a great product . You cant tell that you have it on so this would be a great product for you and it really works.
Reply:If it is to cover up an injury.... that is okie dokie. there is what%26#039;s called a foundation brush... on the handle of the brush it has powder foundation in it. it comes in lots of skin tones...鈾?br>Reply:wearing make-up doesn%26#039;t mean you%26#039;re gay. If you feel more confident, then put some on. I prefer Bobbi Brown or MAC foundation. Find a foundation that matches your face color the most and buy it. Or maybe ask help from the salesperson for choosing it because you%26#039;re a guy so i think you wouldn%26#039;t know how to start.

But one thing, if you have a dry skin, don%26#039;t forget to put mosturizer (find one that is for men) because putting foundation on a dry skin can make it even drier.

When you apply the foundation just make sure, it%26#039;s smooth all over your face because if it%26#039;s not smooth, people will know right away that you apply it.

Either MAC or Bobbi Brown would have a good one for you to use .

Hope I did help you something. BE CONFIDENT!!
Reply:I have the Irish blush also. (have you gotten a medical opinion of your own, it may be rosacea (sp?) which is treatable). If there%26#039;s nothing that can be done medically, you may want to try a redness minimizing tint or primer--something with green tones to even out some of the blushing. I use smashbox color correcting primer in green. It%26#039;s incredibly moisturizing too.. no need for a separate lotion. Mac is not a good stand-alone product for dry skin.

If you need to cover it to be comfortable, go for it!! People wouldn%26#039;t think to question your sexuality if you were born with a crooked nose that drove you crazy if it could be treated by plastic surgery. To each their own.

Lupus rash or Rosacea?

I have a rash on my face sometimes that burns. It feels basically like I have been sunburnt on that area, and it appears around the nose, cheeks area. It is not raised and it has no acne with it but simply makes me looks red. It doesn%26#039;t seem to be the butterfly-shape they say Lupus has. Also, I am male which I hear it is rare in males.

I am thinking it is Rosacea but the thing is that the affected area is very irritable and red when it flares up. It is tender and somehwat painful to touch. Shaving makes it flare up usually, some days I will wake up feeling it hot on my face. If I apply moisturizer or anything it burns like hell. Is Rosacea supposed to hurt? Or could it be the early onset of Lupus? I don%26#039;t know enough about the rashes to come to any conclusion. I usually avoid doctors as most in my area are useless and prone to misdiagnoses. Anyone with Lupus or Rosacea confirm for me if the rash actually pains you?
Lupus rash or Rosacea?
Lupus-associated rashes are not usually painful. There are essentially for different types of lupus, each with its own symptoms. Lupus has many general symptoms that may include profound fatigue, painful swollen stiff joints, fever, weight changes, and Raynaud%26#039;s syndrome. Read more at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/lupus/D...

I am answering your Question because I was once in a rosacea versus lupus situation. I had profound fatigue, fever, Raynaud%26#039;s syndrome, a butterfly rash, chest pain, and dry eyes. I was eventually diagnosed with fibromyalgia and rosacea.

Read more about rosacea at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/rosacea...

Rosacea has three stages:

1. Pre-rosacea. You flush easily, but it goes away.

2. Vascular rosacea. You flush easily and it stays longer as the capillaries in your face stay dilated longer. Your skin may be more sensitive.

3. Inflammatory rosacea. Skin stays red; inflammation and acne-type cysts occur. In men, the nose may become enlarged and bulbous (i.e., President Clinton had rosacea!).

As rosacea is caused by inflammation and is easily irritated, it may indeed feel hot, especially when further irritated by shaving. Never, never apply moisturizer to rosacea to try to calm it unless it%26#039;s a dermatologist-recommended moisturizer. Rosacea can be treated with prescription topical medications that also contain moisturizer (I used Noritate for many years).

As rosacea in men can be more severe than in women, you may want to see a physician specifically to ask, %26quot;Is this rosacea?%26quot;

If you%26#039;re having lupus symptoms, you may want to ask for a referral to a qualified physician in your area. How to find one? http://www.lupus.org/newsite/index.html and click on %26quot;find your local chapter%26quot;. Some chapters list physicians; some list support groups.
Lupus rash or Rosacea?
Rosacea shouldn%26#039;t burn like that. Even though the MDs in your area are useless. Try finding a teaching hospital %26amp; have a consult with the director of that specialty: either Rheumatology or Dermatology.

If you have Lupus it might show up in your blood as a

+rheumatoid factor.

Google:mayo clinic%26gt;%26gt;diseases %26amp; conditions%26gt;%26gt;rosacea %26amp; lupus.

Good luck to you.
Reply:Rosacea and lupus are both autoimmune diseases which need to be properly diagnosed and treated.

Not all lupus rashes take the malar or butterfly shape and not all occur on the face. If you type %26quot;google images%26quot; into your browser and then type %26quot;lupus%26quot; into the search box you will see all kinds of lupus rashes on all parts of the body.

Overall the ration of women to men with lupus is 9:1. 1 In every 170 Americans has lupus. During the childbearing years the incidence of lupus in women is even higher. I personally know 6 men with lupus.

I am not sure what you mean by early onset of lupus. Lupus is a remitting/flaring disease and not necessarily progressive UNLESS YOU DON%26#039;T TREAT IT. Then your possible skin lupus can lead to systemic lupus in which your organs are affected. I have systemic lupus with kidney, heart, lungs, and bone marrow involvement. Not fun.

Some lupus rashes are very painful and some are just annoying. There is more than one kind of lupus skin disease.

If you do not trust the doctors where you live, then I strongly suggest you travel to get the appropriate diagnosis and medical care. Relying on a bunch of yahoo%26#039;s to make a diagnosis that can affect the rest of your life seems like an inadequate solution.
Reply:Do you repeatedly expose your face to heat at work. If so, see the link as it can be mistaken as rosacea. I have it and have similar symtoms as you. I also cannot wear moisturizers or suntan lotions as they trap in heat and make the skin hotter. Whether you have rosacea or not, avoiding the rosacea triggers like alcohol, long showers, suntanning, etc will help a lot. Buy yourself a electric shaver. You don%26#039;t want a close shave if you have irritated skin. I just bought a braun 360 and its really good for my sensitive skin. I used a blade for years and hated electrics.

The scale used to help judge how much time in the Sun would cause sunburn is called (blank). On a clear day in July in southern Canada, a typical value on this scale is about (blank)

For this question would it be Humidex Scale and 30- 40 degrees?

It is the UV Index

UVI EXPOSURE LEVEL

3 4 5 MODERATE

6 7 HIGH

8 9 10 VERY HIGH

11 AND GREATER EXTREME

The Stratosphere extends from the tropopause up to 31 miles above the Earth%26#039;s surface. This layer holds 19 percent of the atmosphere%26#039;s gases and but very little water vapor.

comes from the Sun amd can be absorbed by upper-level ozone (ultraviolet radiation);

Temperature increases with height as radiation is increasingly absorbed by oxygen molecules which leads to the formation of Ozone. The temperature rises from an average -76掳F (-60掳C) at tropopause to a maximum of about 5掳F (-15掳C) at the stratopause due to this absorption of ultraviolet radiation. The increasing temperature also makes it a calm layer with movements of the gases slow.

The regions of the stratosphere and the mesosphere, along with the stratopause and mesopause, are called the middle atmosphere by scientists. The transition boundary which separates the stratosphere from the mesosphere is called the stratopause.

Is my RES's shell supposed to flake or peel off?

It looks like a top layer of his/her shell is peeling off...almost like really bad sunburn
Is my RES%26#039;s shell supposed to flake or peel off?
its just shedding, its shell grows and breaks the top layer, and theres a new layer underneath. (like when snakes shed their skin)
Is my RES%26#039;s shell supposed to flake or peel off?
Yes, they do this as they grow. You can help her by peeling off the shedding areas. This helps avoid getting dirt and fungus under the flakes that can cause shell rot. Good luck to you and your RES! :)

To My Dear Spouse... ??

To My Dear Spouse...

O MY DEAR WIFE,

During the past year I have tried to make love to you 365 times. I have succeeded 36 days. The following is a list of why I did not succeed more often:

54 times the sheets were clean

17 times it was too late

49 times you were too tired

20 times it was too hot

5 times you pretended to be asleep

22 times you had a headache

17 times you were afraid of waking the baby

16 times you said you were too sore

12 times it was the wrong time of the month

19 times you had to get up early

9 times you said weren%26#039;t in the mood

7 times you were sunburned

6 times you were watching the late show

5 times you didn%26#039;t want to muss your new hairdo

3 times you said the neighbors would hear us

9 times you said your mother would hear us

Of the 36 times I did succeed, the activity was not satisfactory

because:

6 times you just laid there,

8 times you reminded me there%26#039;s a crack in the ceiling,

4 times you told me to hurry up and get it over with,

7 times I had to wake you and tell you I finished, and one time I was afraid I had hurt you because I felt you move.

TO MY DEAR HUSBAND:

I think you have things a little confused. Here are the reasons you

didn%26#039;t get more than you did:

5 times you came home drunk and tried to screw the cat

36 times you did not come home at all

21 times you didn%26#039;t ***

33 times you came too soon

19 times you went soft before you got in

38 times you worked too late

10 times you got cramps in your toes

29 times you had to get up early to play golf

2 times you were in a fight and someone kicked you in the balls

4 times you got it stuck in your zipper

3 times you had a cold and your nose was running

2 times you had a splinter in your finger

20 times you lost the notion after thinking about it all day

6 times you came in your pajamas while reading a dirty book

98 times you were too busy watching football, baseball, etc. on TV.

Of the times we did get together the reason I laid still was because you missed and were screwing the sheets. I wasn%26#039;t talking about the crack in the ceiling, what I said was , %26quot;would you prefer me on my back or kneeling?%26quot; The time you felt me move was because you farted and I was trying to breathe.

4 month old sunbunred baby boy ....?

I left my baby to be babysat with my husbands friends wife and apparetnly she didn%26#039;t know babies cannot be in the sun . Well my 4 month old is horribly sunburned on his face and his arms and i have been putting aloevera gel and cool baths but what are the risks and side effects and what else can i do for it to heal faster .?
4 month old sunbunred baby boy ....?
Please call the doctor. He probably needs something for pain if he is that sunburned.
4 month old sunbunred baby boy ....?
I think this is something you need to call his dr. about becasue he is so little.
Reply:That%26#039;s terrible... I%26#039;d never let her babysit again, that%26#039;s for sure.

And you should probably check in with your Doctor... sunburns are bad for anyone.
Reply:unless you are using the Aloe vera right from the plant then i suggest that you stop using it as it can actually make burns worse...

the cool baths are a good idea, but i would be taking my child to the doctor as soon as possible to have a burn cream prescribed..

the sun is no joke...
Reply:I was always told to take them to the doctors for sunburn under the age of 6 months because some topical creams can be dangerous as they contain anti-inflammatories which are absorbed through the skin and could be too strong. I%26#039;d go to the urgent care just to be sure and check that what you are putting on is ok.
Reply:Call the doctor. Tanning, to say nothing of burning, is unsafe for adults, not to mention tiny, sensitive baby skin. i%26#039;m sure he%26#039;s just fine and lots of children get sunburns. But if his temperature goes up, keep a very strict eye on it.

I%26#039;d get it checked out just to be sure. Maybe there is something more soothing a doctor can give that will help his tender skin heal faster and not hurt so much.

And next time, make sure you tell your friend to BE MORE CAREFUL. Lots of people are baby dummies lol I used to be until I got a new niece so I can appreciate how these mistakes can be made.
Reply:Take the baby to the ER.Have you taken the babys tempature? Babys can easily get sun poison and a fever is a sign of sun poison. It would be better to let a doctor percribe the baby cream to put on the baby.I`m sure it would be better then the stuff you are using.
Reply:That is horrible. I would never leave my baby with her again. If she doesn%26#039;t know that a baby can get sunburn, then she doesn%26#039;t have very much common sense. I would not want her to care for my baby. Call your pediatrician, they may be able to prescribe something. I put sunscreen on my babies even if we are only out for a short time. Especially when it is overcast. That%26#039;s when there are the most harmful rays. The poor thing, my heart goes out to him.
Reply:Sweet jesus, is that woman an inbecile, who doesn%26#039;t know that you keep babies out of the sun????? If I were you, I would seriously have a major confrontation with that woman!

That said - you need to take your child to see the doctor ASAP. If the sunburn is that bad that is very dangerous on a baby that young. Good luck!
Reply:A baby that age needs to be seen by the doctor ASAP.
Reply:What an outrage! That woman apparently has no common sense! As with many of the others answers, I would get my baby to the ER or Doctor as fast as I could get an appointment or drive the car. How many wet diapers does he have? If fewer than about four he could be dehydrated, so try to get him to take some liquids. Take his temp, and get to the doctor as fast as you can. Do a check of sunburn and babies on the web and see if there are any symptoms that you son has, after you go to the doctor. That woman abused your child by neglect. Anyone with half a brain knows that babies need additional protection in the sun. I would never leave my child with her again. I would also make sure that I put SPF 50+ on my baby before I took him anywhere and give instructions to use the sunscreen every couple hours or so. Good luck, hopefully the doctor can help your little guy recover with a minimum amount of discomfort.
Reply:LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF VITAMIN E CREAM. WHAT A NASTY BABYSITTER, I HOPE SHE NOW KNOWS THAT BABIES CAN GET BURNT.
Reply:Take him to the doctor immediately.
Reply:What a moron. I%26#039;m sorry that happened to your poor baby. If I were you, I%26#039;d get in touch with the pediatrician asap. On the rare occasion I get sunburned, I use aloe vera with lidocaine in it for the pain, but, I don%26#039;t know if that%26#039;s safe on infants, perhaps your doc could tell you. Or, there may be some cream they could prescribe if the burn is severe enough. I hope everything turns out okay and your baby is not left with lasting effects.

Worried about accidentally peeling tattoo?

I got my first tattoo 4 days ago and I%26#039;m super paranoid about not damaging it while it heals. My tattoo artist told me to wash twice daily with gentle soap, pat dry, apply Bepanthen (nappy rash cream) and cover with cling film for the first 4 days. This morning, I washed it as usual but when I put the cream on, while I was rubbing it in, little flakes of black started coming off. I wasn%26#039;t rubbing overly hard, just smoothing the cream in. When I patted off the excess cream there were flakes on the kitchen towel. I%26#039;ve heard that it can heal kind of like sunburn, kind of peeling off in little bits. Am I damaging it or is this normal? I%26#039;m due to leave it uncovered and switch to unscented body lotion (I bought E45 lotion) this evening but presumably little flakes will (and should) come off as it renews itself underneath??
Worried about accidentally peeling tattoo?
it sounds pretty normal.

if the scabs were loose and came off with the lightest of touches then its probably because they were ready to. the fact that you%26#039;ve been taking proper care of it just speeded up the process and meant it%26#039;s healed quickly,

however if the scabs weren%26#039;t ready to come off and you brush them off with too much force then it can cause the tattoo to be patchy but you shouldn%26#039;t worry because that doesnt sound like the case here, and besides if it is patchy, most tattooists will correct it for free once its healed if you go back to where you had it done.

hope this helps.
Worried about accidentally peeling tattoo?
Don%26#039;t sweat about it peeling. It%26#039;s perfectly normal. My experience (I have a few tats) is that they all peel a little differently. One of my came off as basically one whole piece, so I stuck it in the photo album...cool hey!
Reply:This is normal, dont worry about it, but this is the first time i have ever heard a tattoo artist telling someone to keep a tat covered with cling film for 4 days, they usually say only for the first 2-3 hours.
Reply:Peeling is perfectly normal in a healing tattoo, though it concerns me he told you to wrap it for the first 4 days.. They always tell me not to cover it more than 2 hours after it%26#039;d been done. Tattoos need air to heal properly.
Reply:This is normal. It sounds like you%26#039;re doing a great job in the healing process....just keep doing what you%26#039;re doing. When it starts to scab, don%26#039;t pick at it. That will ruin it. I know someone who did that and it looks like a much lighter shade of ink was used in that particular spot.

Anyways....you%26#039;re doing good.

Congrats......you%26#039;re no longer a tat virgin!

Good luck.
Reply:it is normal but make sure u dnt encourage the peeling as i did and i am now left with cracks through my tattoo where i helped the peeling stage and made it bleed! jus keep it moisturised..xx

Acne treatment-makeup-suncreen... question?

I just started taking Minocycline for my acne treatment. I read that I need to use a sunscreen because minocycline can make my skin more sensitive to sunlight and sunburn. Can I use makeup that contains suncreen instead of an actual sunscreen? I%26#039;m guessing makeup containing suncreen isn%26#039;t as effective, but am I really in a position where I need full-on protection from the sun??
Acne treatment-makeup-suncreen... question?
Most dermatologists don%26#039;t recommend you wear make-up that often when you are trying to get rid of acne. the oils from the make-up do not help.. or slow down the process.

so i suggest you buy make-up (foundation) that is %26quot;non-comedgetic%26quot; or %26quot;hyperallergenic%26quot; or that says %26quot;won%26#039;t clog pores%26quot;

sorry.. i probably spelled some words wrong..
Acne treatment-makeup-suncreen... question?
depends if you usually burn or tan in the sun. if your white then deffinetly buy a sunscreen . if you tan then i doesnt matter too much
Reply:It is better to buy a sunscreen instead. The makeup usually rubs off more easily. You can also try a sunscreen in you moisturizer. This absorbs more easily into the skin and gives you a good protection. I am currently use a product that also needs me to use spf and I wear a moisturizer with spf. I wear Philosophy and Clinique has some great well as well.

Question about lips and cold weather?

Does cold weather make your lips all cracked-like, as in they looked cracked up, and even sometimes it looks liek whitish due to dead skin cells?

Also in teh summer can your lips get sunburnt from yourself licking them, then the sun boiling the saliva?
Question about lips and cold weather?
in the summer no but in the winter you need to apply a lot of chap stick per day because i had that same problem and your lips will crack and everytime you smile it will hurt and it will get all dry.so apply a lot of chap-stick!
Question about lips and cold weather?
Very interesting question.. especially the second one, I would have also wanted to ask this one day.. But I have an answer to the first question.

Here, in Finland it%26#039;s cold for many months and what I have noticed that cold weather and lips have almost nothing to do with each other. In my case it depends on what and how much I eat and drink. And I don%26#039;t think we humans would differ greatly in this biological way..

Now what I mean is that cold weather DOES affect the lips, but it doesn%26#039;t have to be like that if you %26#039;save%26#039; your lips with proper nutrition and amount of liquid.

EDIT

Lot of people like to use Chap-sticks like this lady before me wrote. But the truth is that these sticks do the job for the lips and the lips stop producing their protective oils and other things so you become dependent on the sticks... I never use them and my lips don%26#039;t need it. No one%26#039;s lips need that. Once again.. It%26#039;s all about being in harmony with your own body knowing what is missing at the moment and filling the gaps in time. By gaps I mean the nutrition part..maybe not enough vitamins...etc...etc..

What's the best way to get a tan?

Right now, I am pretty pale, but I was wondering what the best way of getting a tan is without it looking fake or being damaging to my health. the problem is it%26#039;s hard for me to tan, i cant even get a sunburn. but whats a good way of getting a tan on someone who doesnt tan easily for a low price??? any natural ways???
What%26#039;s the best way to get a tan?
! sun! is the best and natural way to get tan! sun is meant for skin and human body! if you are not out in the sun much, and then all of a sudden you go for sun bake for , you will get sunburn! lotions and creams are full of chemicals so the natural and best way to get tan is to always be around in sun, and your skin will be healed and tanned without the risk! if you dont get enough time to be around in the sun, then, start by 10-15mins each day in the sun and increase the time as your skin gets used to it and this way you will not get sunburnt and develope a real good tan!
What%26#039;s the best way to get a tan?
try the diff lotions out there. they gradualy get u darker and u can stop when u think it looks fake. it better then tanning and burning :)
Reply:I would suggest a build up tan.

Like a Garnier one, i would recommend Body Summer.

That way it builds up lightly and looks for natural.

Fake it, dont bake it!

Weird symptoms? Period arrived 15 days late, rash around my eyes, weird aches and sore throat cold symptoms?

My weird ordeal started last month when my period arrived 15 days late. i started taking new vitamins, and under a lot of stress. (took 6 tests all negative and yea i did get it). Then a weird rash appeared on my face near my chin and around my eyes and eyelids, almost like a terrible reaction. I keep getting aches and have cold like symptoms, sore throat, cough, congested..I woke up today and my eyes were done peeling and now it looks like i have a horrible sunburn on my nose and under my eyes, any ideas what the hell is going on with me?! i went on an anti biotic for the eye irritant, and going tomorrow to get a shot for it. I also re filled a prescription of nuva ring to regulate my period, is this my body telling me something is seriously wrong? any input or advice would be great..or anyone who has ben through any weird symptoms and has found them to be nothign to ignore thanks
Weird symptoms? Period arrived 15 days late, rash around my eyes, weird aches and sore throat cold symptoms?
You%26#039;re probably introducing something new to your body that it doesn%26#039;t like. If you%26#039;re taking new vitamins, try to cease taking it and see if this will occur again.

You probably want to play detective and go backwards. Play a game called the Process of Elimination.

First...see if it%26#039;s the new vitamins. Then see if you%26#039;re trying something new in the bedroom. Then see if you came into contact with something new (a metal object that you might be allergic to).
Weird symptoms? Period arrived 15 days late, rash around my eyes, weird aches and sore throat cold symptoms?
your probably allergic to the ring or you may have syphilis. go to the doctor.
Reply:u might be preganet take some tests
Reply:GO TO THE DOCTOR! ASAP!
Reply:You have not mentioned your age. If you are above 40 then all probablity you are into menopause. Moreover, what tests did you

conduct. Test for STD. Drink a lot of water and do yoga especially the breathing in and breathing out exercise at least for 10 minutes or so sitting in the yoga position. Stop taking the Vitamin which you started recently. Excess of vitamin is also bad.

Nothing wrong with you and you are going to be all right.

What the hell is this all about?

I%26#039;m 15 years old and I swear I%26#039;m not convinced my nipples are of the right size as in they are smaller than they should be :S:S I cant take my t shirt off in the pool I have to keep it on using the excuse that I don%26#039;t want sunburn!! lol
What the hell is this all about?
there is no %26quot;normal%26quot; nipple size. Don%26#039;t be too worried about it. It%26#039;s normal for someone your age to be self conscience about your body, but you are absolutely fine.

Mine are pretty small too...about the size of a nickel, and I%26#039;m almost 26.
What the hell is this all about?
im 13 and i have the same problem i just deal with it y wouuld people make fun of you just make up some fake disorder that makes you have that they wont make fun of you again
Reply:Noone%26#039;s nipples are the same as everyone elses. Just be yourself.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t worry about it. You%26#039;re normal. However, now if a girl has nipples the size of a penny or so, then that is just plain weird. I have seen some like this but it is unattractive to me.
Reply:Look at pics of guys without their shirts. You%26#039;ll see lots of guys with very small nipples, some with larger ones. But so what, no reason to be ashamed of them or embarrassed by them. Certainly don%26#039;t start playing with them, as they will perk up and swell up, really standing out. No one really notices the size of a guy%26#039;s nipples unless they are overly large or bulge out, nothing to sweat about. As said, compare yourself to guys in swimsuit pics and you%26#039;ll see you are %26quot;normal%26quot; in that lots of guys are the same size as you.

Acne treatment-makeup-suncreen... question?
Each person will have a different level of heightened sun sensitivity from the medication. It%26#039;s best to play it safe by using sunscreen in some form. It really doesn%26#039;t matter which (as long as the SPF is high enough for you). It%26#039;s easier to use a combo and it may be easier on skin that%26#039;s prone to breaking out. There are many brands that combine sunscreen of varying levels with foundation. I have sensitive skin and my favorite combo is Bare Minerals. The coverage is really, really good (without looking like makeup) and it doesn%26#039;t make me breakout (which a lot of liquid sunscreens and liquid foundation/sunscreen combos seem to do). You can order it online if you don%26#039;t live near a Sephora, etc. and the colors are easy to determine - you just pick a skin tone. The starter kit is a good way to go in the beginning because it has the special brushes and you get 2 foundation colors to blend to just the right color.
Acne treatment-makeup-suncreen... question?
i%26#039;m on minocycline right now too.

they don%26#039;t make me more sensitive to the sun, but i get dizzy in the sun.

anyways, you should always use some sort of sunscreen.

using a make-up with sunscreen should be fine though.

but if you just started taking it, i would wait a while to use the make-up.

clear up your face a little bit first.

hope i helped you and good luck! :]

Tanning question??

i am goin 2 hawaii. normally in the summer i get really sunburnt and then i become tan even if i wear sunscreen. what can i do 2 avoid this so i don%26#039;t come back 2 school lookin like a tomato?(don%26#039;t say wear jeans and a long sleeved shirt or say less time at the beach. that is out of the question)
Tanning question??
my gf just got back from Hawaii yesterday actually, she usually gets burned but she went tanning a month before she went and now she is TANN extreamly tan so try tanning get your skin used to the uv and also use sunscreen,

hope it helps
Tanning question??
P20 is a really good sun protection which last all day, isn%26#039;t greasy and lets you tan without burning... and it%26#039;s water resistant i think
Reply:Go to a tanning salon. Go 4 minutes the first time. If your skin does not pink/redded, go up a minute the next session...and so on. This will provide you with a gradual tan (not burn) and will build a base for Hawaii. I would also suggest that you use a lotion with a higher SPF while in Hawaii since the atmosphere may not block as many of the UV rays as the atmosphere in the town you live in.

When you get sun burned, what do you do?

please answer.....i am sunburned!
When you get sun burned, what do you do?
Suffer.

Usually, I try to wear more sunscreen that usual or evade going outside at all. Also, I use a cream called Noxcema (I%26#039;m not sure if that%26#039;s how it%26#039;s spelled). Sunburn is indeed unpleasant.
When you get sun burned, what do you do?
Noxzema works well to soothe. So does aloe and lidocane. I have also taken wet tea bags to the worse spots. If it is really bad, see a doc ASAP.
Reply:get some aloe vera, take a light painkiller and get some rest. you should also drink lots and lots of water so that ur body can replace what the sun has taken out.
Reply:I put aloe vera on my sunburn.
Reply:aloe vera,
Reply:rub lotion with aloe in it on the burn
Reply:put aloe and stay in cold places it leaves in one day oh and take cold showers
Reply:Put noxzema on it. It will cool the burn and prevent peeling. Also if you are NOT allergic to aspirin-take two with a large glass of water. The anti-inflammatory properties in the aspirin will help you feel better and reduce the inflammation due to the sunburn. The water is for dehydration which can happen with any type of burn.
Reply:Aloe Vera
Reply:Cool tepid bath, and then a sunburn cream that has aloe in it(you can get these at walmart) as long as it is first degree sunburn, if you have little water blisters it is second degree and a cool bath will help, but you need to let the skin breath so don%26#039;t put too much lotion on, and if it is third degree you would know it and you would need to see a doctor. I also use Tylenol or ibuprofen for the pain. SUNSCREEN next time, good luck hope it feels better!!!!
Reply:I put aloe vera on it, and then I dip a small towel in icy cold water and lay it over the burn.
Reply:If it is first degree then aloe or a vinegar and water spray will help the burn..if it is second degree (blisters) be careful to watch for infection (redness draining yellow, pain)..don%26#039;t bust the blisters let them open on their own...if this burn is extensive (large area) then you may need to seek medical care...don%26#039;t put any kind of butter or oil on it...(old wives tale) it doesn%26#039;t work and contains salt which increases the pain...
Reply:get some solarcaine burn relief aloe extra, you can bye it over the counter cost between $5-$9 depends where you live...i just got some for my son and it works great....good luck..
Reply:I was sunburned so bad once that I couldn%26#039;t walk because the skin on my calves tighted to much. I literally had to tip-toe around until the skin stretched enough that I could walk regularly.

I used a blue sunburn gel from a pharmacy that had Lidocaine in it. It worked fantastic. I had tried everything else...sprays, aloe vera and they didn%26#039;t work well. The spray was a waste of money.
Reply:Sucks!

I have tried several things and it depends on the pain as to just how far you%26#039;ll go...

*boil teabags and let them cool, soak a soft tshirt or towel and place over sunburned areas

*put vinegar in your bath water

*lots of fluids and aspirin

*baby powder on your sheets will help you rest

*Aloe w/ lanocaine or solarcaine

Good Luck... Feel Better Soon...
Reply:white shaving cream. the moment it touches your skin it takes the burn out. don%26#039;t rub it in. put it on in a white layer and let it absorb in. put a cotton tee shirt over it if necessary.
Reply:youghart-the milk product-
Reply:Banana Boat - Sooth-A-Caine - Aloe Vera Spray Gel.... This is wonderful, it is cooling on contact!!

Just wondering I got a sunburn and I would love some, I got to buy some! :) Morning Friends!

Do you have a jug of Noxzema in your bathroom?

Reply:i have some of the cooling noxema cream in my room for sunburn lol.. everyone needs to have it on hand for the summer.

Reply:No..I%26#039;m a Nivea girl...

Try vinegar,it cools your skin and might help keep you from peeling...

my throat hurts

im coughing

it feels like ive got sunburn on my back even thow i ahvent been in the sun and theres nothing there
What does this sound like?
I would think some kind of horrible cold or the flew. Take a shower, get lots of fluids and sleep, and if you%26#039;re still sick after a while, see your doctor.
What does this sound like?
sounds like a virus, antibiotics will not help a virus. It will just have to run it%26#039;s course.
