Tanning Lotion?

Hi. Im getting really pale for some reason and i need to get a tan. I dont want to spend ours in the sun though becuase i could get sunburn and stuff. so i was thinking of buying the tanning lotion. how do i use it and is it permanent or will it eventually fade away?
Tanning Lotion?
It%26#039;s not permanent and will fade in 4-7 days depending on how much you sweat or shower. Why do you need a tan anyway?

A spray is easier to use than the lotion. With either type you should wash your hands thoroughly after you apply it b/c it will stain the areas inbetween your fingers and around your nail bed orange (even if the rest of your color is fine).

Put regular lotion on your toes, ankles, knees, elbows and hands before you apply it to keep those areas from getting too dark (the skin there is usually a bit rougher/dryer and it absorps more of the tanning activator).

but really, you%26#039;re own color is probably fine.

Those things dont work....

You should go tannig...
Reply:My sister and I tried that when we were younger, and we looked more like pumpkins, because it was more of a orange color than tan. Also, it is very hard to get on even, which is very important so it is not blotchy.
Reply:Go to Sally Beauty Supply and buy the tanning towels. They look like the wipes that you get in a seafood restaurant to wipe your hands with but they are a little bigger. You just wipe the towel on you arms and legs or where ever you want some color. Make sure you wash your hand afterwords.

There are different shades. Use the lightest to start with. They work really good. You can use a wipe everyother day or so and keep the color.
Reply:if you want to get a nice even tan you should consider a spray on tan in a booth, like Mystic tan. however i wouldnt recommend the MysticTan because its known to turn people orange. if you can a find a tanning salon in your area that offers Magic Tan use that, it actaully gives you a golden brownish color like a tan should look. you could also just go to a tanning salon and use the beds but if you want to avoid the %26quot;health hazards%26quot; associated with tanning beds then the spray booth is the way to go.
