What does a Tattoo Feel like????

I'm really serious about getting a tattoo, my friend got one and says it feels like a cat scratch, but others said it feels like an indian sunburn, so I don't know, but I know the pain varies where you get it, so what about on your low tummy close to your hip on the side???
What does a Tattoo Feel like????
It has a lot to do with where it is placed. If you get it in an area where there is more fat and muscle it doesn't hurt as much as it does on bone (like your ankle). It also depends on who does the tattoo. Some hurt worse than others, you may hear the term "heavy handed", the people who have that reputation usually go to deep or to hard. Over all I would compare the pain to a sweat bee. I have also heard it feels like ant bites. Hope this helps.

Reply:people can say it doesn't hurt (they are liars who want to sound tough, in my opinion), and some parts of the body really don't hurt (others hurt really bad), but in general you should expect some pain and depending on the placement of said tattoo and length of sitting time it can get pretty painful, but it's also worth it. I sat 5 hours for the "soft" side of my forearm and the last half of that I was wincing and grimacing through the conversation. The other painful piece I had done was on my chest, and in particular near my nipple. good luck.
Reply:It fells like somebody heated up the tip of an icepick and stuck it in your skin and started to move the icepick around. After about 5 minutes the area starts to go numb, so it will be less painful. It mainly the outline of the tattoo you fell. The colouring is a breeze.
Reply:it herts alittle bit but that's ok be a little mazochic and you will enjoy the pain .a tattoo feels like an abnormal artistic stain in your body, a different pease of skin will make the difference i gess.i think you should try it ,just to avoide the routine and you have to change your look to get on well with your new tattoo.
Reply:I got mine right above my *****, it felt life hard scratching right near my bones. There no fat there to cushin the pain so that's where it hurt the most. Especially after her kept going over it with the differenet colors. But after a while your adrenaline kicks in %26amp; it just feels sore. When it is healing it feels like a rug/indian burn. Not that bad. .. but it really itches when it starts to peel, be sure not to scratch it though.... ok well good luck!!!.





p.s. make sure you research your tattoo artist %26amp; that you are completly satisfied with everything about the design. If there is something that you don't like, don';t be afraid nto speak up...
