Is this the worst excuse for being off school ever ?

A chap from our stationary supplier just brought in his 8 year old son to help him, asked why he wasn't at work the father said.





"He's off sick with sunburn."





I am not making this up.
Is this the worst excuse for being off school ever ?
lol.... thats a poor excuse hun....Sun burn in the UK this year???? Now if he said he was water logged thats a different story x

Reply:Sunburn can be nasty, but if it was that bad he certainly wouldn't be capable of helping his dad at work.

Reply:My Ma was a nurse so I got none of that treatment. All ailments could apparently be cured by going to school and running round the playground.
Reply:one of my students came in two weeks late for class and his excuse was he got lost on the way to the college.

Reply:lol. my girlfriends older brother takes days off work a lot. some of his excuses include "my bikes got a flatty" and "theres something good on TV today". lmao.

Reply:His parents could be guilty of neglect,you have to be very careful that the school don,t refer it to social services.
Reply:My friend started taking sick days because she had had to many sick days so it would have been too hard for her to catch up on all the work she had missed lol
Reply:When I was young, I used to go to a School called White Woman Lane School I think in Norwich.





I did not got to this school much, as I did not like it, the "excuse" was I was being bulled %26amp; was too scared to go to the school, which was a bad thing for me too.





The school %26amp; Norfolk County Council, said it was the worst excuse %26amp; no one is ever bulled at all, just a work of fiction, lies.


Me staying away from school was very good for the school, they did not have to deal with the problem %26amp; they did not care, they still got the money form the Council.
