SUN BURN!!!!! OwWwW!!!! HELPPP!!!!?

What is the best way to help a sunburn...and should I take a cold or hot shower?
SUN BURN!!!!! OwWwW!!!! HELPPP!!!!?
Immediately apply a cold compress (either a cold wet washcloth or ice) and take some ibuprofen. If you would like to take a shower, take a coolish, lukewarm shower. You don%26#039;t want it too hot, it will hurt, and you don%26#039;t want it too cold or you can shock your system. Use aloe gel or lotion (oil free!) on it or any other good, water based lotion, and continue to take ibuprofen for it, for about a week. You can also use plain yogurt on the burned area, it will soothe it and cool it down. This should help with the pain and help the skin start to heal itself. From now on, you need to either stay out of the sun and wear a high SPF sunscreen so you don%26#039;t reburn the skin.

i think cold
Reply:lots of aloe and lotion...cold NOT hot it will feel twice as hot as it really is and dont get more burned on top of ur burn...ice works well for pain
Reply:foil, it comes in a yellow can. you can get it at a drugstore. and a cold shower.
Reply:Take a lukewarm shower...this may sound painful but it seriously works...Noxema, the kind in the blue jar....it gives it a tingly cool feeling and after applied and taken off it doesnt hurt as bad...try this a couple times for a day or two.
Reply:TAKE A COLD SHOWER
Reply:I know this sounds really odd but I got a horrible sunburn a year ago and someone suggested putting vinegar on a paper towel and rubbing it on your body, then applying aloe with a cooling agent in it. You can find the aloe anywhere, I got mine at Walgreens. I know you might think that%26#039;s crazy, but it%26#039;s the only time the pain from a sunburn ever went away very quickly. Also, I thought that it would sting and it really doesn%26#039;t at all...it feels so much better afterward! And I healed much quicker than I would have using just aloe. I know if I ever get another burn, I%26#039;ll use vinegar again.

By the way, don%26#039;t take too cold of a shower...remember, your skin is hot, and think of it as putting cold water in hot grease...it could make the burn even worse. Bear the pain and take a lukewarm shower...actually a bath would be easier so that you don%26#039;t have water beating down on the burn. Good luck!
Reply:A cool shower will help with the pain, Noxzema skin cream also helps.

Reply:use icy hot and take a cold bath not shower !!!!!!
