I just put elmers glue all over my nose, was this a bad idea?

ok, well the thing is, i had sunburn on my nose, and the skin was like peeling off a little and it was driving me crazy, sooooo 4 some reason i thought it would be a good idea to put glue on my face! buuuuuuuuuuut now its starting to burn...........am i gona die???

Reply:wash/peel of the glue.. your not going to die.. not the brightest idea though.. for a peeling nose if you must peel it.. or use tweezers.. maybe something like a little rubbing achohol but be careful with ANYTHING NEAR YOUR EYES!!!!!!!!

Reply:A really bad idea would have been to put superglue on your nose. At least Elmer's will peel right off. My daughter had a friend that enjoyed putting Elmer's on her skin so she could peel it off - so I know it comes off pretty easy. But it will not help your sunburn - or peeling skin. A moisturizer or lotion might help tho.It isn't a good idea to put lotion or moisturizer on a new burn, but once it is in the peeling stage it should be fine.
Reply:Ya--that was a bad idea! lol....but NO ur not gonna die! its just glue on ur nose!! it might hurt trying to get it off..but u will survive...i promise....try to be as gentle as possible when taking it off....good luck with that! :)
Reply:You won't die but you probably made the damage worse. For sunburn, wet a regular caffeinated tea mag and pat the drippings all over your nose for a while. It will help- after you get rid of the glue.
Reply:Well I don't think your gonna die but I don't think glue was the right decision to make for sunburn.Next time try a little aloe and wait the peel out it's not that bad to have a peeling nose for a day or two.Try using some hot soapy water to get it off.
