Age spot removal?

I am 28 yrs old and have fair skin. I have never been one for tanning in my younger years %26amp; have never gotten sunburned. Everyday I use SPF 15, I wear a hat when going out %26amp; in general I avoid the sun like the plague. At a very young age I have been anti-age obsessed, unline the other girls my age who would tan. So you can imagine my shock when on my left cheek I developed a SUN SPOT! First, I can't imagine how since as I said I take so many precautions. And 2nd, I want to get rid of it. I went to a dermatologist who confirmed it was a sun spot. She put me on Tretioin 0.25% cream. However, creams like Retin-A, hyrdroquinone tend to scare me.For one, I really don't want chemicals on my face. Hydroquinone has cancer causing properties and is banned for use in Eurpoe. And Retin-A may actually WORSEN hyperpigmentation on spots and can reoccur once you stop using it.

What I am looking for is a NATURAL way that is effective in PERMANENTLY erasing this spot!!!!!!!!!
Age spot removal?
I think you can buy a bleaching cream for that, but you have to apply it every few weeks..
Age spot removal?
I don't think there is a non-medical way of removing this. You will have to use an anti-pigmenting cream or banishing creams. This is just your natural predisposition and with your fair skin it is more visible. Don't worry about other people who expose themselves to the sun because they might not be showing it right now. Later on in life they will pay for it by having leathery and wrinkly faces.
Reply:You could try lemon juice but it would probably take forever if it even helps at all. Why not use the cream you got from the doctor for just a short time and see if it helps. Using the cream for a short time really should not hurt you at all.
Reply:stop using a sunscreen (which only filters bits of uva/uvb) and use a sunblock SPF 45 or higher which blocks all rays. Keep with the hat. Also use sunblock on arms and legs. Cremes to fade I dont know. American Laser Center has IPL treaments that fade. Expensive. Find out about the use of Intense Pulse Light in your area. Now I sound like a commercial. good luck
