Make up tips?

i have brown hair, brown eyes, and a really light tan, but im still red from some sunburn. i was wondering what is a good way to make my eyes look larger and also make my face a little brighter, and maybe good eyeliner/eyeshadow/lipgloss colors?
Make up tips?
Eyeliner makes your eyes look bigger. Bronze foundation will make your face glow and look gorgeous. A good eyeshadow color would be gold. With the lipgloss, don't go too dark or bright. Stay with a subtle pink/nude color that's not much different than the color of your lips. I would stick with black eyeliner.
Make up tips?
You don't need that stuff. You are beautiful just the way you are. Women use make up to mask their ugliness. You have a natural radiance that should never be conceled.
Reply:maybe darker eye shadow?
Reply:use a little black mascara or eyeliner to make your eyes pop, use a shimmery facial whip or blush to make your face look brighter, a minimal amount of blue eye shadow will go nicely with brown eyes. a nice strawberry colored gloss would look good with the skin tone I am picturing. remember to go light and as natural as possible to make you look pretty and fresh!
Reply:first off the best cover-up and face powder is truematch, and it has like a million diffrent skin tone, so you can find the one that fits your tan, and then for mascara and eyeliner, you will want a mascara that has the "lengthaning" thing on the end, (you know the white part, it really opens up your eyes and lastly for eyeliner you would want "mac" it works the best!!!
Reply:Using a white eyeliner on your lower lashline will help to open up your features. Apply mascara but not without curling your lashes first! Use a blush that compliments your skin to freshen up your face. Nothing beats a clear lip gloss.
Reply:a good way to make your eyes look larger is to stay away from eyeliner. Eyeliner on the bottoms of your eyes makes your eyes look smaller. Buy a good mascara and an eyelash curler to curve your lashes, and it will make your eyes more open. I think green eyeshadow looks nice on tan people, but don't put on too much and don't put it all the way up to the eyebrow...that just looks trashy. A little bit of blue will make your eyes stand out too. Brown would look nice and natural, but if you want your eyes to pop pick a color that contrasts your eye color. Just put a little bit near your eyelashes kind of like a liner would look. Go with a neutral shade for lipgloss...or a clear one.

To make your face look brighter get a good moisterizer and don't use a lot of foundation and powder. I've heard that putting a bit of shimmer on the inside of your eyes ...by the tear ducts (near your nose) can make your eyes look brighter and make your face look brigher too.

Ask your friends and your mom/sister/whoever to borrow some makeup if you don't have any, and experament a little bit. See what you like so you know what to buy.
Reply:I have similar colors and have fallen in love with Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals. They are a bit pricey but I go with the Medium and Medium/Tan colors.

Beyond the Bare Minerals. I found that applying a SMALL amount of white eye shadow to the inner corner (closest to your nose) of your eyes makes them look bigger. In the summer/fall, I usually try to work the tan/burn. I'd skip the heavy foundation and use a shaded moisturizure and maybe a bronzer (without out glitter), physician's formula has really great ones. Go with glittery browns, bronzes, and golds on your eyes and only line the outer part of your eyes instead of all of your eyes. I like bronze eyeliner. It's softer so it makes your eyes look softer and bigger. Shockingly enough, lipsticks/glosses with a touch of orange really make brown eyes pop. For blush I would go with a hint of orange-ish pink. Just don't go overboard. Too much color is obvious and you just want to look fresh. Play around. Have fun.
Reply:It doesn't matter what your skin tone is, I think a good mascara and clear lip gloss is really all a girl needs. It's just enough to give you a little something extra but it also helps you keep a beautifully natural look. Not only does it take 10 minutes to do (TOPS) but guys dig girls who look natural.
Reply:I am going to make some corrective comments on some answers, and provide some of my own ideas.

Less is more, keep that in mind. You need to start out with a small amount, you can always add more, but it's much harder to take it off without having to start all over.

Eyeliner does NOT make your eyes bigger if used incorrectly. Eyeliner used sparingly (think very thin line) on your top lid will do the trick and in brown to look natural. Black looks harsh on people with a light tan, brown hair and eyes. You might even try a dark green color! I have it, and it looks nice. You can't tell it's green very easily, but it pops the color of your eyes! If you have specks of color in your eyes (such as gold or green), use those color eyeshadows to complement. Use a lighter color on the bottom crease, and a slightly darker shade along the brow line. Also, to make your eyes look even brighter use a highlighter shadow (obviously this will be a light, natural color). Sally Hansen I believe has trio shadows with complementing colors according to your eye color. It's either that or Almay that carries it. Bronzer is a good thing if used lightly. Too much and you look dirty! I don't use foundation at all, it just melts under the sun and looks cakey, but I definitely use concealor on certain areas, including any blemishes of course. Hope this helps
